Hello, I'm Durga Gupta.
Psychologist, PhD scholar, and founder of HeartSpace Therapy — a practice built around the belief that you don't need the right words before you're allowed to ask for support.

Two distinct, dedicated spaces
My work
I'm a PhD scholar in psychology and I've spent more than five years working with children and adults — in classrooms, in clinics, and now in my own practice. That combination of research and hands-on sessions shapes how I work: evidence-informed, but never clinical to the point of cold.
Every person who walks in carries something different. A child who needs a different kind of support to focus and grow. An adult carrying anxiety, grief, or a relationship that needs care. That's why HeartSpace holds two distinct spaces — a Kids Corner and an Adult Therapy space — each paced and designed for who it's for, under the same warm, judgment-free care.
Why mental health matters to me
I grew up around people who carried a great deal quietly, because asking for help felt like admitting failure. I watched how much of that silence was avoidable — how often the difficulty wasn't the feeling itself, but having nowhere safe to put it.
Mental health isn't a luxury and it isn't a last resort. It's the thing underneath how we study, work, parent, love and rest. When a child gets the right support early, they don't spend the next twenty years believing they're the problem. When an adult gets a space to be honest, they stop managing their life alone.
That's the whole reason HeartSpace exists — to be an ordinary, unembarrassing place to start.
How sessions feel
- No pressure to explain everything in the first session — we start wherever you actually are.
- Confidential, judgment-free, and paced to you rather than to a fixed programme.
- For children, parents stay in the loop with honest updates on what's working.
- Available in person in Ghaziabad, or online if that's what makes starting possible.
